What is Beginner Reformer Pilates?

Beginner Reformer Pilates is a resistance based workout with a focus on core stability, posture and alignment. Exercises are performed on our Align-Pilates Reformer beds with a variety of resistance springs and smaller equipment to make the session adaptable and cater for all abilities. This session gives you the basics required to move through to the more advanced classes and will still challenge you in a non judgemental environment. 

What should I wear?

Please ensure you wear comfortable exercise clothing to class, keeping in mind that you may have your legs in an open position for some exercises. Boys, if wearing shorts please wear some skins underneath. It is also mandatory that all classes be performed in grip socks for safety and hygiene reasons. Non slip socks are available to purchase in the studio. 


What should I bring with me to a class?

Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated and a towel to wipe down equipment after use. Towels and water can also be purchased at Revival reception. 


What time should I arrive?

Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before the session start time. We have a lovely waiting area just outside the studio where you can have a chat and prepare for the session. Unfortunately if you are late for a class we will not be able to let you in as warm ups would have started and we want all of our participants to have a great experience.
